Level 1: Aspiring Speakers & Content Contributors

Emerging voices building skills, experience and credibility.

Overview

This is the development level designed for agents and broker/owners who want to improve how they communicate, educate and share what they have learned in front of an audience. The focus is preparation, practice and feedback before visibility.

Requirements

  • Open to eligible agents and broker/owners across the network. No invitation required. Application-based
  • Application submission including a proposed topic and sample content (e.g., an article outline or 15-minute presentation script) for review
  • Demonstrated interest in public speaking with an active commitment to improvement.
  • Demonstrated sustained business performance
  • Prior experience creating and delivering original content (such as articles, webinars or panel presentations)
  • Active MAXEngage℠ profile with ongoing content participation
  • Completion of required REMAX presentation and media training. A Speaker Training badge is issued in MAXEngage℠ upon completion and is required for level advancement

Level 2: Certified Professional Speakers & Rising Voices

Leaders actively developing their platform and expanding their reach.

Overview

This is the trust level of the Speakers Bureau. Speakers at this level have demonstrated strong delivery, consistent professionalism and positive audience impact. They are relied upon for internal and regional events and stages.

Requirements

  • Level 1 completion with strong audience feedback (80%+ positive rating)
  • Paid external speaking engagements
  • Top 5–10% of the network in specialty and performance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences
  • Four to six approved speaking engagements per year
  • Internal and regional event participation

Level 3: Signature Speakers

Established voices representing REMAX on high-profile national and global stages.

Overview

This is the highest level of the Speakers Bureau and is invite-only, reserved for elite speakers with a proven track record of high-impact delivery and sought after by membership. These speakers represent the brand when visibility and expectations are highest.

Requirements

  • Invite-only
  • Top 5% in performance across the network
  • Elite speaking ability with a proven history of paid or keynote engagements
  • Highly rated video or live speaking footage
  • Strong brand alignment, consistently modeling REMAX values

FAQs

What is the REMAX® Speakers Bureau?

It’s a way to make sure the right people are on the right stages. If you’ve ever taught something internally, spoken on a panel or thought, “I could explain this better,” this is probably for you. Some people want to improve their speaking skills. Others are already speaking and want to do it at a higher level.

Do I choose my level when I apply?

No. Most participants begin at Level 1. Placement is determined through a structured review of your application and submitted materials, based on program criteria and demonstrated experience.

Does joining mean I’ll be speaking at REMAX events?

No. This isn’t a sign-up for a stage. It’s a process to make sure people are ready when opportunities come up.

Is this only for big stages like R4®

Not at all. A lot of speaking happens in smaller rooms. Internal trainings, regional events, panels and associations. Those matter, just as much.

Is speaking paid?

Sometimes. It depends on the level and the event. Level 1 is about development. Level 2 and Level 3 may include paid opportunities.

How do you decide who moves up?

We look at preparation, delivery, feedback and professionalism. If people get value from you and you represent REMAX well, that matters.

What does “evaluated” actually mean?

It means someone took the time to prepare, met the standards and earned their spot. Not everyone who’s interested becomes a speaker. That’s on purpose.

What if I’m happy where I am and don’t want to move up?

That’s fine. Not everyone wants a bigger stage. Some people just want to contribute and do it well.

Is there a cost?

Details will be shared when applications open. Nothing is hidden or surprising.

Who decides advancement?

Advancement is reviewed and managed through the Speakers Bureau process. It’s not automatic and it’s not self-selected.

What if someone stops meeting the standards?

Then we address it. Being part of the Speakers Bureau means maintaining the standards, not just hitting them once.
